One of the amazing things about Led Zep is that four musical virtuosos remained solid for over 10 years. That is so rare. it is also unique how diverse the music of Led Zep is and how they changed rock.

I'm 72 and have heard this track hundreds of times, and I still get chills at "As we wind on down the road, our shadows taller than our souls"

As a guy who had the "What in the hell is this band!!??" experience in 1981, I absolutely love it when I get to experience that feeling again through someone like you, Polo. Watching you fall instantly in love with the genius of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straights brings back that feeling.

This is San Francisco in the sixties...

INXS was one of the better bands from the 80's, they seem to get lost in the shuffle. That was their big ballad hit. What You Need, Need You Tonight, New Sensation & Devil Inside are some of their best songs.

Chris Cornell is slightly before and superior to Nirvana. I love Nirvana but SG exceeds.

This is a band best enjoyed live. Incredible energy, the charisma of the frontman is in the hallowed tradition of Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, Stephen Tyler, David Coverdale etc. certainly a top frontman of the 80’s. Wembley Stadium 1991 would be the concert I would suggest. Many great songs. New Sensation or Suicide Blonde.

This is an experience. For sure..I cud play this forever..used to carry the album everywhere I went and insisted to be heard

Soundgarden is one of my all-time favorite bands. I was watching them live in NYC during the slow speed chase and Chris Cornell dedicated "Mailman" to OJ when none of us knew what he meant 😂
